Cub Scout Day Camp 2019
June 10-14th Twilight Camp at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Bowling Green, KY
July 22-26th Day Camp at Camp Rotary in Glasgow, Kentucky
Twilight camp generally run from 4:00pm - 9:00pm each evening (some camp times may vary)
Day camp generally run from 8:30am - 4:30pm each day.
What is day camp?
Day camp is a great summer activity for Cub Scouts. It's a week-long experience for all registered Cub Scouts going into K thru 5th grades in fall 2019. Day camp is where scouts can shoot BB Guns, bows and arrows, learn about nature, do leather-work and crafts, play games, sing songs, and do many more activities. What To bring?
Cub scouts should bring a sack lunch each day; bring non-perishable foods and drinks only. Bring rain gear if weather looks threatening, sunscreen and bug repellent. Everything elder is provided. Adults may bring a chair and a small tarp for the scouts to sit on. NO OPEN TOED SHOES OR SANDAL ALLOWED AT CAMP.
What about my younger sibling?
A special area called Lil' Buddy Camp is available for younger children of adults who are serving as Den Walkers and Staff Members. Parents must be at camp for their child to attend. A nominal fee of $25 covers the entire week or any combination of days. Snacks, T-shirt, and activities will be provided. Children must be potty-trained.
Whats the cost?
Cub Scout Day Camp is $110*. This fee includes a t-shirt, cup, patch, snacks, crafts and all the fun possible! Register by May 2nd (for June camps) and June 3rd (for July camps) and receive a $10 discount.
Need additional help?
A limited number of camper-ships are available for those who may need help with the fee. The youths parents must submit the application for camper-ship by April 30th. Click the link below for the application or contact the Scout office at (502) 361-2624.
